Overview of the Course

Syllabus
This course covers the basics of radio operation, frequencies, distress, emergency and medical assistance procedures, making ship to shore telephone calls, Digital Selective Calling, Global Maritime Distress Safety System. 

Format
This is a one-day course, 9am-4pm on Saturday 14th December. 

Pre-reading
Before attending the day course, you will be required to go through some VHF content first. 

Certificate
Upon successful completion of this course you will receive an RYA Marine Radio SRC Certificate.
